    The Sorrell College of Business at Troy University is recruiting a tenure-track assistant professor focused primarily in the area of Human Resource Management to begin in August 2025 at the Troy Campus in Troy, Alabama. 

     

    Job Summary

    The Assistant Professor position in the Department of Management, HRM, and Law for the Sorrell College of Business is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position with a ten-month appointment to begin August 1, 2025. This position is responsible for teaching human resource management and/or management courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level; providing instruction in face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online formats; conducting academic research in line with AACSB expectations; advising students; and providing service to the Department, College, University, and community.

     

    Minimum Qualifications

    Doctoral degree in human resource management, management, or a related field from an AACSB accredited university (ABDs within one year of completion will be considered).

     

    Preferred qualifications

    Having all or combination of relevant professional experience with a preference for Human Resource Management experience, peer-reviewed research, and effective teaching to compliment academic credentials.
