HR DIVISION LATE-STAGE DOCTORAL STUDENT CONSORTIUM

We are currently accepting applications for the 2025 HR Division Late-Stage Doctoral Student Consortium, which will be held in person on Saturday, July 26th, at the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management in Copenhagen, Denmark.
    Highlights include:

    * Keynote address by Dr. Amy Colbert, University of Iowa

One-on-one dissertation/research feedback from leading scholars in the field

    * A variety of presenters and interactive panels about surviving the job market, publishing impactful research, effective teaching, and managing service demands

    * Roundtable discussions with the editors of major journals (e.g., Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Academy of Management Review)

The Consortium is open to late-stage doctoral students actively working on their dissertations. It is expected that applicants will (1) be members of the HR Division, (2) have completed all required coursework, and (3) be on track to have their dissertation/thesis proposal approved by their supervising committee before the conference. Please note we do not accept applicants who have already completed their PhD or have previously attended the HR Division Late-stage Doctoral Consortium. Additionally, due to limited space, we typically accept one student per program, but we may accept additional qualified students from a given program upon the request of the candidate's doctoral program coordinator.

    Application/Endorsement Deadline: May 16th, 2025

Application/Endorsement Process: There is no charge for the Consortium, but you will need to:

    1)     1. Complete the application form (https://ufl.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_22WPk5UNWIiM5WS) by May 16th, 2025. You will be asked to upload a 1- to 2-page CV with contact information, education, research/teaching interests, and research records (publications, conference presentations).
