HR Division "Developing a Scholarly Profile" Middle-Stage Doctoral Virtual Roundtable: Call for Participants
Are you facing challenges in developing your dissertation proposal or research projects? If so, consider attending this virtual roundtable,"Developing a Scholarly Profile," organized by the HR division. (If you are a faculty member, please share this information with students who may benefit from it.) We are hosting a Zoom session on Friday, April 11th, 2025 (11am-noon, EST), focused on the dissertation and publication process for middle-stage doctoral students.
Goals & Content
Building on the success of our in-person Mid-Stage HR doctoral roundtable at AOM annual meetings, we aim to extend its benefits by offering a virtual version beyond these meetings. During this virtual roundtable, you will have the opportunity to engage with junior faculty members who have recently graduated but already established a prolific track record. This will allow you to ask questions and gain insights into the dissertation and publication process.
Eligibility
This roundtable is designed for second or third-year doctoral students who have passed their comprehensive exams and are currently working toward their dissertation proposals.
How to Participate
Participation is free of charge. To join, please email your name, school, year in the program, and your CV to Dr. Huiwen Lian (hlian@mays.tamu.edu) by Friday, March 14, 2025. Participation is limited to 45 attendees, so an early response is encouraged.
We look forward to connecting with many of you!
