A New JGM Spotlight Topic for our regular issue articles: DIGITAL NOMADS.
Each year, JGM will highlight a Spotlight Topic, encouraging research on emerging and forward-thinking themes within global mobility. These papers will be published as part of regular issues while contributing to key discussions in the field. At submission, we ask authors to indicate in their cover letter that their manuscript is about the Spotlight Topic.
For 2025, the JGM Spotlight Topic is DIGITAL NOMADS, and we welcome manuscripts exploring their implications, challenges, and opportunities. There must be a match between the topic of the submitted manuscript and what JGM publishes, i.e. research on global employees who cross borders physically and/or virtually for work purposes.
While the 2025 JGM Spotlight Topic focuses on DIGITAL NOMADS, we continue to welcome high-quality submissions on all aspects of global mobility.
