    Saint Vincent College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor position with a flexible start date. The position requires a proven background teaching Management or Operations. The ideal candidate will possess experience or expertise in Operational Excellence or Sports Management. This role will teach Core Business and general Management courses along with some more specialized courses given their area of expertise.
    Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. (or equivalent terminal degree or experience) in Management or Operations. The candidate will teach courses in the Business Core as well as in the Business Administration and Management programs. The candidate may also teach in, coordinate portions of, and contribute to the Operational Excellence or Sports Management programs by advising students, creating industry connections, and maintaining an active program of scholarship in their area of expertise.     We are seeking outstanding candidates who exhibit a strong commitment to graduate and undergraduate teaching and continuing scholarly activity in addition to building positive relationships with colleagues, students, and industry leaders. The successful candidate will teach introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses based on their background, network and connect with industry professionals, supervise student projects, advise majors, and develop a research program that engages students. The standard teaching load is 24 credit hours per year. Service to the department and college is expected. Excellent communication skills are required.
    Compensation is competitive.

The teaching philosophy statement must address how innovative pedagogical methods will be incorporated into teaching. The application must address the mission of the department and the college will be furthered through both teaching and research.
