  • 1.  Request for course outline and materials on Employee Learning and Development

    Posted 06-02-2022 14:39
    Dear All,

I am looking for a course outline and other materials (e.g., exercises-individual and team-based, HBS case suggestions, movies/tv show videos, TED talks/podcasts suggestions, ideas for a final assignment wherein students work with an organization) on the topic of employee learning and development for the undergraduate program in management. The course would run for 16 weeks.

I would also like any suggestions on the textbook to adopt for this course.

    Thank you very much.

    Warm Regards,

    Dear Sheldon,

I have been teaching Foundations of HRD for master's students using McLagan's (1989) classical definition of HRD that consists of T&D, CD, and OD over the past decade. This is a team project-based course, and I am using a collection of journal articles and book chapters instead of a textbook. See attached.

    I hope this helps!

    Sincerely,
