    Position Description

    The Department of Management at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University, invites applications for a full-time Academic Professional Track (Non Tenure) faculty position with a 9-month academic appointment beginning February 3, 2025. Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of Clinical Assistant, Associate or full Professor, Lecturer, Senior or Principal Lecturer, and Assistant, Associate or full Professor of Practice depending on qualifications. This position will include an administrative appointment as Director of MS-Human Resource Management (MS-HRM) programs and the Center from Human Resource Management (CHRM).

     

    The successful candidate is expected to teach in the areas of Human Resource Management, Employment Discrimination, Labor Relations, Employment Relations, Alternate Dispute Resolutions, among other OB/HR topics. The successful candidate is also expected to take on responsibilities as Director for MS-HRM programs and the CHRM. In the role for Director for CHRM, the faculty member is expected to manage and build relationships with stakeholders, including industry partners, faculty, and students. In the role of Director for MS-HRM programs, the faculty member is expected to manage MS-HRM programs with the help of Program Manager and Program Coordinator. For this position, we seek qualified members who have interest or experience in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level (e.g., BBA, MBA, MS, professional MBA, executive MBA) in the synchronous and asynchronous formats. Position may involve teaching in summer semesters as well. The nominal teaching load will be six courses per year for Clinical Professor-track and Professor of Practice-track and eight courses for Lecturer-track. Teaching reductions will be provided for administrative appointments consistent with the Mays Business School policies. Other service expectations are commensurate with the position level.
