    The AACSB-accredited Jack Welch College of Business & Technology at Sacred Heart University has a full-time, tenure track faculty opening in the Management Department beginning in the academic year 2023-2024. The University seeks a highly ambitious, energetic person who is innovative and passionate about Human Resources Management. Particular interest is in candidates with a research agenda focusing on the intersection of technology and human resource management (e.g., HR Analytics, HRIS, Recruiting using AI, Employee Performance Monitoring).

    Requirements:

    This position requires a doctorate from an AACSB accredited program in Human Resource Management or related fields (e.g., Management, Organizational Behavior). ABD candidates with expected program completion dates by July 2023 will be considered. The ideal candidate will have an excellent teaching record and a demonstrated capability to contribute to high quality research in their field. In addition, experience/background and/or interest in technology would be looked upon favorably.  Upon selection, the faculty member will be expected to teach courses in Human Resource Management at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and advance the research in the field of Human Resource Management.
