HR Division Late-Stage Doctoral Student Virtual Consortium: Extended Deadline

We are still taking applications for the 2020 HR Division Late-Stage Doctoral Student Virtual Consortium, which will be held synchronously, over 3 sessions:

Session 1: Friday, August 7 3:00pm – 5:00pm (Eastern)

Session 2: Saturday, August 8 4:00pm – 5:00pm (Eastern)

Session 3: Saturday, August 8 5:00pm – 6:00pm (Eastern)

The HR Doctoral Student Consortium is open to doctoral students actively working on their dissertations. Is it expected that applicants will be (1) members of the HR Division; (2) finished with all required coursework; and (3) on track to have their dissertation/thesis proposal approved by their supervising committee before the conference. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applicants that have already completed their PhD. In addition, please note that because space is limited, only one student per program is typically allowed to participate. However, one additional qualified student from a given program may be accepted upon the request of a candidate's doctoral program coordinator.

Application Process:
There is no charge for the Consortium, but pre-registration and conference registration are required. To pre-register, please email the following materials to  Bård Kuvaas ( bard.kuvaas@bi.no) by Tuesday, July 14:

* A nomination form endorsed and signed by the candidate's doctoral program coordinator (or equivalent). The form may be found at https://tinyurl.com/ybmyyfom

* A current student CV (up to two pages) including contact information, education, research/teaching interests, publications, and conference presentations for distribution to all participants.

* Thanks to the generous support of the Texas A&M Center for HRM and Cornell Center for Advanced Human Resource Studies (CAHRS), a few scholarships are available for those with financial concerns.

We hope you join us for this educational and fun experience for emerging HR scholars! Please contact any of the organizers of the consortium (see below) should you have any questions. We look forward to connecting in August!
