Colleagues,
We are currently accepting book chapter proposals from authors for a research handbook on the topic of Personality and Motivation. Our goal is for the handbook to cover the current state of what is known in terms of research on personality and motivation. Chapters should be review-oriented, providing the current state of the field (what is known) as well as trends and expected areas for future research (where things are moving; what questions we are still trying to answer). We are taking a broad, psychology-based approach to personality, including traits, affect, values, core self-evaluations, etc. At this point we are particularly interested in finding authors to review the topics of core self-evaluations (or other closely related constructs) and trait variability. However, we are open to proposals on any topics related to personality and motivation.
