    Overview
    The Management Department in the College of Business at James Madison University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position beginning Fall 2021.

    A Ph.D. in Management or a related field is required, a Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited program is preferred.

    Position start date is August 2021. Review of applications will begin January 19, 2021.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    We are seeking a candidate who can teach courses in Consulting or Human Resource Management, with a secondary teaching area in Organizational Behavior, or General Management. The successful candidate must provide evidence of teaching effectiveness and outstanding research potential.

    Normal teaching load is three 3-credit courses per semester during the regular academic year. The successful candidate will be expected to engage regularly in service to the department, the college, the university, and the profession.
