Below, please see our specific calls. Please also note that due to the virtual format this year, all submitters will need to indicate if they'd prefer to be considered for the synchronous or asynchronous program.

In addition, please click here to sign up as a reviewer! We very much need your time and expertise to maximize the quality of our program.

    PAPER AND SYMPOSIA SUBMISSION

In the HR Division, we are dedicated to understanding, identifying, and improving the effectiveness of HR practices to facilitate organizational competitiveness nationally or internationally, encourage individual growth and development, and enhance individual performance, work-related attitudes, and well-being.

To that end, we encourage submissions that tap into these and related issues of interest to both HR scholars and practitioners. We also encourage both empirical and theoretical submissions that are consistent with the Division's on-going interest in research that bridges the science/practice gap, with a particular focus on the conference theme "." Please also see our  for additional information and suggestions.

For general information about scholarly paper and symposium submissions, please click . You can also see more detail about submission guidelines by clicking the following links for  or for .

Finally, please note that in addition to the  and  awards (each carrying a $500 stipend), we have two additional awards focused on research at the intersection of HR and entrepreneurship ( and ). We are grateful for the support of the Kauffman Foundation for sponsoring these additional awards (and the associated $1500 stipend for the winners). More information about all of the HR Division awards can be found . If you have any questions, please contact the HR Division Program Chair, Jill Ellingson, at .

    PDW SUBMISSION

The PDW format is highly flexible and provides opportunities to experiment with new models and ideas that do not fit within the confines of the regular program. The HR Division encourages the submission of creative ideas for interactive sessions that actively engage participants in learning new information, acquiring new skills and techniques, or addressing pressing issues or questions.

Sessions on linking HR research and practice, international HR, teaching, and facilitating Division member professional development are especially encouraged, given the expressed interests of our membership. We also encourage you to work with colleagues both within and outside of the HR Division in developing and submitting proposals for PDW sessions. Finally, please also consider (but do not feel bound by) the 2021 conference theme, "."
