    The University of North Texas is a Carnegie R1 national research institution located in the vibrant and rapidly expanding Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area and is situated in close proximity to DFW International Airport. University enrollment is over 40,000 students with more than 8,000 graduate students. The university offers 230 undergraduate and graduate majors and concentrations. The G. Brint Ryan College of Business is accredited by AACSB International.

    The Department of Management in the UNT G. Brint Ryan College of Business invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in Human Resource Management. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct scholarly research that leads to publication in leading academic management journals. Additional position responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in Human Resource Management including, but not limited to legal aspects of employment practices, HRIS, and comprehensive talent management, as well as MBA, and doctoral courses, mentoring doctoral students, and performing service activities within the department, Ryan College of Business, and university. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

    This is a nine month, full-time, tenure-track position. The successful candidate will be expected to develop a record of scholarly research necessary to earn tenure. In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to engage in teaching, both online and face-to-face, and to engage in service activities within the department, Ryan College of Business, and the University of North Texas.

    Candidates must have an earned doctorate or be ABD (near completion) in Human Resource Management or a related field from an AACSB-accredited institution. Candidate must have teaching experience and show potential to conduct high quality research.

    A demonstrated publication record with evidence of ability to publish in top-tier journals. Evidence of teaching excellence with teaching experience in Human Resource Management or related field.
