Dear members of the HR community,
We are in the process of organizing a presenter symposia for AOM 2020 which relates to ex-military corporate leaders such as CEOs, top managers, and Board of Directors. Specifically, we are interested in how the military experience of such firm managers may shape organizational outcomes or strategic decisions. In collaboration with Gerog Wernicke (HEC Paris) we are inviting unpublished papers that may fit the theme of this session.
We're especially interested in research relating to how ex-military experience shapes personal cognition or may serve to imprint onto a person values that influence firm outcomes. Thus, for the purposes of this session, we are looking for papers (either empirical or conceptual papers) that may contribute to the theme of the session.
If you're interested in contributing to this session, we would appreciate an abstract (500 words max) of your current work for our consideration. Kindly email your submissions by the 23rd November 2019, to either Anthony Kim (yeongsukim@som.umass.edu) or Eugene See (csee@som.umass.edu).
