Dear HR Community
A final reminder that the HR Division of the Academy of Management is currently accepting proposals to host our 6th Human Resources International Conference (HRIC) in 2026. The HRIC, held outside of North America, brings a high-quality academic conference to countries closer to where many of our Division's international members reside. Previous HRIC's have been highly successful events and the HR Division officers are keen to build on this.
Prior conferences have been hosted by DCU in Dublin, Ireland (2019), UNSW Australia Business School in Sydney, Australia (2016), and Renmin University in Beijing, China (2014). In June 2023 the 4th HRIC will be hosted by North West University (in collaboration with Tilburg University) in Potchefstroom, North West Province, South Africa, while in January 2024, the 5th HRIC will be hosted by the Otago Business School In Dunedin, Aotearoa New Zealand.

Please submit your completed proposal to the chair of the HR Division International Committee, Brian Harney, brian.harney@dcu.ie by the 31st of May, 2023. If you have questions, please reach out to Brian or the Division Chair-Elect, Rebecca Kehoe, kehoe@cornell.edu.
Submitted proposals will be reviewed by the elected members of the HR Division Executive Committee. An initial evaluation will shortlist the top proposals. Those associated with a shortlisted proposal will be asked to present to the Executive Committee during a virtual meeting, prior to final proposal selection.
