The first session will host leading scholars from Israel and abroad that will share with us their career stories. They will describe their career development route, career choices they made, complex decisions they had to make along the way, dilemmas and turning points. The panelists will have 15 minutes each to describe 2-3 critical points (of dilemmas, transition, decisions, turning points) in their career, which they can share with the students when describing parts of their career development process. The panelists will describe stories of critical incidents that they think can contribute to students understanding of the different options and decisions to be made in the career path(s). The panel will be held in a format of story-telling (no need for presentations).

The second session will include four leading scholars, from Israel and abroad, who will share their experience in navigating the academic career. They will share experience from points of transition, from PhD to post-doc, navigating the job market, holding a position as junior faculty, and obtaining tenure. The format of the session will be open questions and answers, with tips for participants.

Students and junior faculty will choose two tables and participate in two sessions (45-minute session in each table). At the beginning of each session, the scholars will present their view on the topic including useful and important recommendations, ideas, lessons learned and tips that can be useful for doctoral students and junior scholars. The introduction will be followed by an open discussion and questions and answers.

15:45-16:45 – Feedback on papers (roundtable format)
This panel will provide an excellent opportunity to discuss your research in an informal setting. Regardless of whether you are a senior or a beginning researcher, this session offers you an invaluable opportunity to receive detailed feedback from scholars who are often editors or on the
editorial boards of top journals. Each editor/facilitator will read and provide feedback on up to 2 student papers. See below for submission guidelines. Should more papers be submitted for review than editors are able to handle, papers will be slotted for review on a first-come, first-served basis.

The editors panel will provide valuable tips on how to get a paper published. Each editor will mention one key tip that came up in their round table and will give a 5-minute pitch about their journal. Then, the panel will open to questions and answers.

Submission Guidelines for the Paper Feedback Session:
Your submission should include the following four sections:
- Brief abstract (not to exceed 150 words) and four keywords
- Overview of research (not to exceed 2,000 words)
- Research topic
- Conceptual framework
- Research questions
- Method
- Anticipated contributions to research/practice
- Key findings (if research is complete)
III. Challenges (the areas on which you would like to focus
