Are you interested in learning more about within-person research methods? Following a successful session last year, we would like to invite you to a professional development workshop at the 2023 Academy of Management Annual Meeting that aims to provide scholars with a deeper understanding of within-person design and statistical analyses. This session will include a panel discussion with experts, as well as roundtable discussions where participants can get answers to pressing questions. We look forward to seeing you in Boston!

    Brief Information about the PDW:

This workshop is for those who are interested in within-person research-both from a theoretical and empirical perspective. Part 1 will include a panel discussion from experienced experts, focused on how theory can inform the choice of when and how to adopt a within-person study design. Part 2 will utilize a roundtable format, pairing experts with participants to present best-practices for conducting within-person studies, as well as to answer related participant questions. The goal of this workshop is to not only advance the use of within-person designs and strengthen the relationship between theory and such designs, but also to further the development of participants and provide them with actionable steps to better utilize within-person studies. No pre-registration is required for this session. Interested participants can send any questions to I-Heng (Ray) Wu (i-hengwu@southalabama.edu).
