    Hello,

I'd like to post the below on the HR division website:

I'm pleased to let you know that the Academic Journal Guide AJG 2024 has now been published at the below link.

    https://charteredabs.org/academic-journal-guide

The Academic Journal Guide (AJG), also known as the ABS List (named after the Chartered Association of Business Schools in the UK, which publishes it), is a journal ranking system for academic business research. The AJG ranks journals across multiple business disciplines, such as management, finance, marketing, and economics, to help academics and institutions evaluate the quality and impact of research publications (although this is of course imperfect).

The AJG ranks journals on a scale from 1 to 4*, with 4* being the highest. Journals with higher ranks are seen as more rigorous and influential. The rankings are updated periodically to reflect changes in journal quality and field relevance. Many business schools, especially in the UK and Europe, use AJG rankings to assess the strength of their faculty's research output, impacting hiring, promotions, and research funding decisions. For students and researchers, the AJG is a helpful guide to understanding where to find influential, peer-reviewed research and to identify journals where their work might have the most impact.

I hope that you find this useful!
