"To know what you know and what you do not know, that is true knowledge." Confucius famously said this - but can we honestly say this about knowledge behaviors in organizations?

Join us on Saturday morning at Westin Copley Place Boston in North Star to discuss this question and find new collaborators for your next paper in our PDW on "Do We Know It All? New Perspectives On Studying Knowledge Behaviors In Organizations" organized by Anne Burmeister, Ulrike Fasbender and myself! This PDW will develop a new research agenda on the study of knowledge behaviors in organizations by bringing together topic experts and researchers interested in advancing their own scholarship on the management of knowledge behaviors.

We are excited to have four experts discussing the following topics with you:

📣 Context – How do contextual factors (e.g., who, where, why, and what of knowledge behaviors) influence knowledge behaviors in organizations (e.g., remote or hybrid work)? Tatiana Andreeva

📣 Theories – What are alternatives to the traditional theories (e.g., social exchange theory) used to understand knowledge behaviors (e.g., dynamic, non-linear, negative)? Matthias Spitzmueller

📣 Practices – Which practices are effective for the management of knowledge behaviors? How would research that is relevant for practice look like (e.g., interventions)? Karin Sanders

📣 Methods – Which new methods help us capture the dynamic, situational, and dyadic nature of knowledge behaviors (e.g., qualitative methods, behavioral coding, experiments)? Matej ÄŒerne

There is no need to sign up in advance - simply join this inclusive session by coming along!
