    Dear Colleagues,

    We are excited to announce a special issue of Human Resource Management focused on understanding the intersection of Human Resource Management (HRM) and the dynamic process of scaling organizations. Scaling is a complex and transformative journey that requires not only strategic planning but also a deep understanding of how people, processes, and leadership shape and support exponential growth.

     We invite contributions that delve into key themes such as:

    • The impact of scaling on HRM practices like job design, recruitment, and performance management.
    • Organizational design and leadership transitions in scaling firms.
    • HRM's role in leveraging technology and analytics to support growth.
    • Unique challenges of scaling in diverse entrepreneurial contexts.
    • Employee experiences and the evolving nature of work during rapid growth phases.

     We welcome theoretical and empirical papers, employing a wide range of methodologies to address the HRM implications of scaling.
