Madison Schnacker and I are organizing a paper symposium with a focus on the intersection of HRM systems/practices in entrepreneurial firms/SMEs, to be submitted to AOM 2026 in Philadelphia. The symposium will focus on the broad theme of HR in entrepreneurial firms, such as how HRM is implemented and developed in entrepreneurial firms, the important role that employees play in entrepreneurial firms, who makes HR decisions among entrepreneurial teams, and the positive or negative implications that the implementation of HRM practices has for employees (and more!).
If you have a submission that you would like to be considered for the symposium, please send a short (250 words or fewer) abstract describing your project by Monday, November 24th. Submissions can be sent to Madison at mschnacker2@huskers.unl.edu. We will finalize the selection of submitted abstracts by December 8th and will request extended abstracts to be completed by January 5th.
