    Posted 05-24-2025 20:20

The 2025 Conflict Management Doctoral/Postdoc Consortium will take place at the annual AOM conference in Copenhagen. It is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM local time.

The consortium is designed for those interested in developing an academic identity, thinking more strategically about the research process, planning for the job market, and transitioning to faculty. Specifically, we will focus on four main topics important for successfully completing a doctoral or post-doctoral program and launching an academic career: 1) publishing and dissertations, 2) preparing for the job market, 3) negotiating the job offer, and 4) the role of ethics in research. The PDW will be led by a mix of early, mid-career, and senior scholars, each offering their unique perspective. The format will include short presentations, Q&A, and small group discussions.

If you are interested to participate, please fill out this form by June 1st, 2025: https://tcu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cLKXQpVU6pfDoxg

    Dear Jonas,

Thank you again for your interest in the CM Doctoral/Post-doc Consortium. I truly appreciate your enthusiasm and the time you've taken to fill out our registration form.

I want to sincerely apologize for the confusion caused by my earlier email. Upon reviewing the eligibility criteria more closely, I realized that participation in the consortium is limited strictly to current doctoral students and post-doctoral researchers. Since this requirement is set by the organizing committee, it unfortunately means that we're unable to offer participation in this instance.

Thank you for your understanding, and I hope there may be future opportunities where your engagement would be a great fit.

    Warm regards,

    Thea
