The vast field of social sciences throws up immense possibilities of designing and conducting research adopting different approaches and using various methodologies. Management research is a specialized form of social science research. Research outputs are one of the most important components of the performance of the faculty members and give a critical competitive edge to the institutions of higher education. Systematic and well-designed research is a foundational requirement for this pursuit. Well-researched output in the form of research papers, case studies, review articles published in reputed academic journals make significant contributions towards the recognition of faculty members and scholars and the reputation of the institution in the academic world.

In view of these aspects IIT Bombay is organizing the faculty Development Program (online) from  June 1 to June 10, 2024. This is the seventh year of this course offered by the Continuing Education program office of IIT Bombay.  The duration of the instruction will be about three hours per day.
