Abstract: Replication studies are increasingly recognized as essential for building evidence-based management theory, but doctoral students and their mentors face a high hurdle in initiating replications due to the lack of a mature supportive ecosystem in the field of management. This symposium will introduce doctoral students and management scholars to a novel framework for becoming involved in designing, executing, and publishing constructive replications in top-tier journals. It outlines how the Advancement of Replications Initiative in Management (ARIM; www.arimweb.org) coordinates the joint execution and publication of replication studies by teams of doctoral students, faculty mentors, and replication-minded scholars from different universities. Brief presentations, a panel discussion, and a Q&A segment will create a platform for symposium participants to learn both about principles of replication research and how to participate in this collective replication initiative.
