The Consortium is open to late-stage doctoral students actively working on their dissertations. While it is required that candidates have completed all required coursework/comprehensive exams within their respective PhD programs, it is strongly encouraged - though not required - that candidates have their dissertation/thesis proposal approved by their supervising committee before (or reasonably soon after) the 2026 AOM conference and be a member of the HR Division.
Please note that while we encourage all PhD students that meet the above requirements to apply to the HR Division Late-Stage Doctoral Student Consortium, due to limited space, we may only accept one student per academic program. That said, we may accept additional qualified students from a given program upon the request of the candidate's doctoral program supervisor or faculty advisor. Therefore, feel free to have more than one person per program apply for the consortium. That said, we will not accept applicants who have already completed their PhD or have previously attended the HR Division Late-Stage Doctoral Consortium.
