I am pleased to announce that Human Resource Management (HRM) will be hosting a paper development workshop at AOM (session 2246) on Friday 5 August, 3:00-4:30pm (local Seattle time), in Hyatt Regency Seattle (HYR). Room 306 Duwamish.
The goal of this workshop is to help authors to develop publishable manuscripts for HRM, either regular submission articles or articles for our open calls for special issues. The session will consist of brief presentations followed by the opportunity to get one-on-one assistance in developing either a draft manuscript or an idea for a manuscript.
Attendees will gain a better understanding of how to successfully publish in HRM and interact with and receive feedback on their ideas or papers from HRM's Editors, Associate Editors, and Guest Editors. The session will also be helpful to those wanting to propose a special issue for HRM, with insights shared for what makes a successful SI and how to manage the process. Attendees are encouraged to bring specific ideas for a SI, a paper, or a draft manuscript with them to the session.
