Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Work, Employment & Organisation, Strathclyde Business School, Glasgow

    Closing date: 4 December 2022

This post offers an exciting opportunity to lead and make a major contribution to Strathclyde Business School's undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes, and join a thriving community of researchers in several specialist areas of Work, Employment and Organisation. We especially welcome interest in delivering teaching across organisational development (OD) and change, and leadership, with opportunities to contribute across our Human Resource Management (HRM) and Hospitality and Tourism undergraduate programmes, as well as our HRM, International HRM and Work and Organisational Psychology MScs and the MBA.

We are seeking a colleague whose research interests closely align with those of the Department (see https://www.strath.ac.uk/business/workemploymentorganisation/ourresearch). We have a diverse range of interests, but some of our most recent projects address challenges concerning fair and decent work in a global economy, post-Covid work and employment, diversity and inclusion, including disability and LGBTQ issues, well-being and engagement during crisis and change, and leadership in public, private and voluntary organisations.

Strathclyde Business School's mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of its students, society and the world, all within the context of the founding mission of the University of Strathclyde of being a place of useful learning. The School's vision is to be a socially progressive, world-class business school, which is internationally recognised both for research and teaching, and as one of the most impactful schools in Europe.

Required qualifications for this post include a PhD in a relevant discipline, a record of excellence in teaching with evidence of a student-focused approach, a track record in the delivery of high-quality research (evidenced through publications and research grant applications) and experience of teaching, assessment, and leadership at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
