Hiring for Two Faculty Positions to Start Fall 2024, One Tenure Track and One Non-Tenure Track
Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Management (Human Resources)
The Department of Management at Marquette University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management position focused on Human Resources to begin Fall 2024.
Expectations in this tenure-track role balance high-quality research with effective teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels. Service is also a part of this position, with an emphasis on enhancing the student experience within the Human Resources undergraduate major and contributing to the growth and development of the program.
Candidates should have a Ph.D., or be close to completing one, in Human Resource Management or a related discipline. An ideal candidate will be focused on HR in their scholarship and teaching, have demonstrated potential for publication in high-quality journals, and have a strong commitment to effective teaching.

Non-Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Practice (Leadership, Human Resources, OB)
The Department of Management at Marquette University invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Practice focused on Leadership, Human Resources, and Organizational Behavior to begin Fall 2024.
This position will involve teaching 4 courses per semester, primarily in Leadership, Human Resources and Organizational Behavior at the graduate and undergraduate levels, including online and traditional classroom-based courses.
The position also includes service to the department, college and Marquette University, ideally focusing on enriching students' experiences in the degree programs closely related to leadership and human resources. Service responsibilities may also include advising students, serving on academic committees, championing the HR major, and other duties consistent with the goals of the department.
Teaching experience in the relevant area at the university level or professional training experience is strongly preferred. Teaching tasks will include preparing well organized syllabi and teaching plans that clearly reflect the program objectives and expectations, conducting well-prepared class sessions that effectively deliver the course content and engages students, administering meaningful and relevant assignments, and grading student's work with an emphasis on student development. A terminal degree (PhD or DBA) is preferred.
