    Please join NLS for our award ceremony, business meeting, and reception, where we will honor our 2024 award winners!

     

    All interested in leadership are welcome! Join us for a snack, drink, and to honor our winners!

    Rising Star Early Career Award

    Dr. Timothy Kundro, Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Kenan-Flagler Business School.

    Dr. Kundro's research focuses on the complexities of morality and ethics at work. In particular, he investigates how employees respond to and manage (im)moral situations in the workplace.  

    Mid-Career Standout Scholar Award – Sponsored by Durham University Business School

    Dr. Kristin Cullen-Lester, Associate Professor of Management, The University of Mississippi

    Dr. Cullen-Lester's research focuses on relational aspects of leadership, including leaders' social networks and the role of organizational networks in collective leadership, complex collaboration, and strategic, large-scale change.

       

    Eminent Leadership Scholar Award

    Dr. David Day, Professor of Psychological Science & Leadership, Claremont McKenna College

    Dr. Day has published more than 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, books, and

    book chapters, many pertaining to the core topics of leadership and leadership

    development and is the author of the recently published book "Developing Leaders and

    Leadership: Principles, Practices, and Processes" (Palgrave Macmillan / Springer

    Nature).

    Evidence-Based Leadership Development Program (EBLDP) Award – Sponsored by the Management Education and Development Division of AOM

    Leadership development is an integral part of many schools' curricula and typically an important part of their vision and mission. Sponsored by the MED division, the goal of this award is to recognize high quality, evidence- based leadership development programs to promote the adoption of high EBLD standards as a field.

    Congratulations to Dusya Vera, Mary Crossan, & Gerard Seijts from the The Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for leadership, Ivey Business School, Western University for winning this year's Evidence-Based Leadership Development Program award!
