    Please join the Network of Leadership Scholars for our award ceremony, business meeting, and reception, where we will honor our 2023 award winners.  All interested in leadership are welcome! Join us for a snack, drink, and to honor our winners!

    Sunday, August 7th, 4-8pm – Award Ceremony/Business Meeting from 4-5:30, reception to follow until 8pm in the Sheraton Hotel – Constitution Ballroom B

    2023 Award Winners!

    Rising Star Early Career Award 

    Dr. Katie Badura, Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior in the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech.

    Dr. Badura's research focuses on the process through which individuals emerge as leaders within organizations and how individual differences (e.g., personality, gender, disability status) impact employee, team, and firm-level outcomes. See Dr. Badura's bio here.

      

    Mid-Career Standout Scholar Award

    Dr. Jia (Jasmine) Hu, Professor of Management and Denman Scholar at the Ohio State University, as well as the Citi Visiting Chair in International Business at Tsinghua University.

    Dr. Hu's research focuses on prosocial leadership, team effectiveness, and the future of work. See Dr. Hu's bio here.

       

    Eminent Leadership Scholar Award

    Dr. Terri A. Scandura, Warren C. Johnson Professor of Management in the Miami Herbert Business School at the University of Miami.

    Dr. Scandura's research focuses on leadership, Leader-Member Exchange (LMX), mentorship, and applied research methods. See Dr. Scandura's bio here.

    Dr. Mary Uhl-Bien, BNSF Railway Endowed Professor of Leadership in the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University (TCU)

    Dr. Uhl-Bien has contributed to leadership research and practice through her work on complexity leadership, relational leadership, followership, and leader-member exchange (LMX) theory. See Dr. Uhl-Bien's bio here.
