At the Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing at Rutgers University, one of our goals is to provide university educators with tools for teaching about "employee share ownership" in their regular courses. Employee ownership--also known as "broad-based equity compensation" or "worker ownership"--is when employees own all or part of the business where they work.
We've developed, and want to share with you, three teaching resources: a video course, guest speaker program, and an online library including case studies. All are easy to incorporate into a variety of courses in a wide variety of HR and business courses. They are free. Please see below.

The Coursera course Our Share: Employee Ownership as a Wealth Sharing Tool introduces employee ownership. Through short engaging video lessons by 15 experts, students learn how employee ownership works, hear about examples, and learn how employee ownership can share wealth and voice with employees when implemented well. The videos are accessible for students with no prior background.
