This year's Ninth Annual Behavioral Ethics Pecha Kucha Springboard and Networking PDW will take place on Saturday July 26, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm in Bella Center: Hall D-D2, with the Pecha Kucha presentations starting around 2:30pm. This year's theme is "ethical interventions in organizations."

We will start the session off with a research development workshop. Doctoral students and early-stage assistant professors are encouraged to sign up for this part of the session using this link, first come first serve. There are only 5 more spots available: https://kusurvey.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9FfQTOPNVjTE2wK

For this first research development part of the session, the pre-registered students and assistant professors will be asked to bring a research model to discuss with experts at round tables. The experts are Marie Mitchell (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill), Taya Cohen (Carnegie Mellon University), Maryam Kouchaki (Northwestern University), Elizabeth Morrison (New York University), Mike Pfarrer (University of Georgia), Scott Reynolds (University of Washington), Elizabeth Umphress (University of Washington), and Dave Welsh (Arizona State University). This first part of the session will run from 1:00 to 2:30pm.

From 2:30 onwards all Academy attendees are welcome to attend the Pecha Kucha and discussion part of the PDW.

The eight Pecha Kucha (timed 5-minute) presentations presenters and topics are:

    -       Jon Bundy (Arizona State University) on "Macro interventions: Stakeholder humility, stakeholder management and cooperation principles"

    -       Guillem Casoliva Cabana (Booking.com) Compliance Manager on "Training & Education"

    -       Anjier Chen (National University of Singapore) on "Micro interventions: How language changes frame and how small amplifications encourage ethical voice"

    -       Mike Christian (University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill) on "Mindfulness and breathing interventions to enhance ethical behavior"

    -       Jasmine Hu (Tsinghua University) on "Gratitude interventions for ethical behavior"

    -       Remy Jennings (Florida State University) on "Leadership interventions and ethics"

    -       Isaac Smith (Brigham Young University) on "Moral character interventions"

    -       Trevor Spoelma (University of New Mexico) on "Interventions to reduce performance pressure's influence on unethical behavior"

After the presentations, a thought-provoking plenary discussion will be organized.

The third part of the PDW is an informal networking reception that will be organized off-site. Due to space limitations, it is open only to those who registered for and participated in the first (research development) part of the PDW, plus the Pecha Kucha presenters and roundtable experts. They will be joined by other behavioral ethics scholars, including Michelle Duffy (University of Minnesota), Ryan Fehr (University of Washington), Tim Kundro (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill), and Scott Wiltermuth (University of Southern California).
