    Hello all,

The Psychological and Brain Sciences Department at Texas A&M University is hiring two new faculty! First, our department seeks to hire a Visiting Assistant Professor in I/O Psychology - https://apply.interfolio.com/116338. The start date is set for August of 2023. This is a great opportunity for a new PhD to get some additional teaching experience and be embedded in a strong supportive I/O psychology community of faculty and students.

A little bit of information about us.  TAMU's I/O Psychology PhD program was ranked #7 in US News and World Report earlier this year. The core PhD program faculty include: Winfred Arthur, Jr., Mindy Bergman, Stephanie Payne, and Isaac Sabat. We also have a master's in I/O program run by Olabisi Atoba, Yumiko Mochinushi, and some awesome lecturers. We have some great colleagues in the Mays Business School including Wendy Boswell, Matthew Call, Nitya Chawla, Ji Koung Kim, Joel Koopman, Madeline Ong, Tyler Sabey, Yifan Song, and Huiwen Lian. Here's a link to some slides about our PhD program.

We are also hiring an assistant professor through the ACES program! Texas A&M University's Accountability, Climate, Equity, and Scholarship (ACES) Faculty Fellows Program is a faculty hiring program that connects early career faculty advancing outstanding scholarship with relevant disciplinary units on campus. Faculty are hired as ACES Assistant Professors with the expectation of transitioning to tenure track (pending departmental review) by the end of the fellowship period. ACES is administered by the Office for Diversity in partnership with the College of Arts & Sciences

If you have any early career colleagues or doctoral students on the market, the ACES program is a great entry-way into a tenure-track psychology position in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences – including competitive start-ups and reduced teaching load! Happy to answer any questions about this and feel free to forward to others! Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and closes on February 1, 2023:

    Best,

    Stephanie
