The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship of the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track faculty position beginning in September of 2026.
We are seeking a colleague whose primary area of teaching and research is Human Resources Management. This individual must have a PhD or DBA (by August of 2026) in Management and/or a related discipline from an AACSB-accredited program. Ideally, this individual will also have the ability and desire to teach a variety of management courses beyond HRM. Rank (Assistant or Associate Professor) and salary will depend upon teaching experience and publication record.
Hofstra University celebrates excellence in teaching and research. Faculty members are expected to teach graduate and undergraduate management courses in the classroom and online and to conduct research that leads to high-quality, peer-reviewed publications. The Zarb School of Business has recently established sophisticated teaching- and research- oriented laboratories that develop core skills by using AI and VR (https://www.hofstra.edu/business/core-skills-lab.html), support behavioral research (https://www.hofstra.edu/behavioral-research-lab/), and foster innovation and entrepreneurship (https://www.hofstra.edu/entrepreneurship/ideahub.html).
