    Dear colleagues,

    The Department of Management at Western Kentucky University (WKU) invites applications for two full-time, one-year visiting assistant professor positions for the 2023-24 academic year, one in Management and one in Human Resources Management. The positions are one-year, non-tenure-track appointments beginning July 1, 2023 with a possibility of renewal for an additional year, subject to need and funding availability. 

    The visiting professors will be expected to teach four courses per semester. The management candidate is expected to teach undergraduate courses in management concepts and strategy. The HRM candidate is expected to teach undergraduate courses in human resources and business communications.

    Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Management or a DBA from an AACSB accredited institution, or a firm plan for completion. Related fields will be considered.

    Application must be submitted by March 6, 2023, although expressions of interest may be considered until the position is filled.

    Additional Information:

    The Management Department currently has 15 full-time faculty members. The department supports five undergraduate concentrations, business administration, entrepreneurship, global business, human resources, and supply chain, and an MBA program. (https://www.wku.edu/management/)

    The Gordon Ford College of Business is AACSB accredited in both business and accounting and currently offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in various business majors. The Management Department houses the largest number of majors within the College, and is one of the largest programs on campus.
